*Large Halloween props are assessed by lb. as well. Example: Animatronic Hangman (65 lbs.) would be $71.00 for standard shipping
OUT OF STOCK/BACKORDERED ITEMS
We strive to keep all items on our web site in hand at all times and our inventory counts updated, but during our busy season, it is possible that we may run out of stock on an item. If that occurs, we will contact you immediately and let you know the situation with your item. The majority of the time, the item will be back in stock within 7-10 days. If you don't wish to wait for the item to come back into stock, we will cancel your order and refund you in full.
If a color is out of stock but other colors are available for the same style, we will gladly change your order for an optional color if you wish.
Some items can be dropshipped from our various suppliers to our U.S. customers. If we do not have the item in stock, we may have the item dropshipped to you via UPS ground.
CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER:
We strive to ship our items within 48 hours of receipt. If you cancel your order before it has shipped, you will be issued a full refund; however, once the item has shipped, you will have to refuse the item or mark it "return to sender" WITHOUT OPENING THE PACKAGE. As soon as we receive the unopened package in return, we will issue a refund of your purchase price, minus a 10% restocking fee. Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you open the package, you will have to return it, via a trackable shipping method, at your expense. It must be received within five business days.
CHANGE ORDER POLICY:
If the Customer wishes to change the brand, style and/or color of any item(s) after the order has been processed, but BEFORE it has shipped, a minimum $5.00 Change Order Fee will be assessed for each item changed. If an order is changed due to a backorder/out of stock situation, we will change your order at no cost to you.
RETURNS/REFUNDS
Due to the nature of our product line, we have very strict guidelines with regard to returns/exchanges:
- OCTOBER 1-31:
There are absolutely NO EXCHANGES OR RETURNS during the month of October. Please make sure you understand this policy and that you make every attempt to purchase correct sizing and the correct products you need to make your costume perfect!
- HEALTH CODE ITEMS:
Wigs are non-refundable due to health code laws. We also cannot accept returns on makeup, beards, mustaches, hats, undergarments, pet costumes or any item that may violate federal health codes.
- HOSIERY:
Hosiery may be returned in factory sealed packaging, unopened, within five days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price, provided you contact us first at RETURNS@BGALCOSTUMES.COM. Return and original shipping charges are non-refundable. If hosiery item appears to have been opened, a refund will not be given and item will only be returned if customer pays return shipping charges. There is a 10% restock fee on returned hosiery.
- HALLOWEEN PROPS
No refunds on Halloween props over $50.00. If an item arrives damaged, we will exchange for an identical item at no cost to you, provided you notify us within two business days of receipt at DAMAGE@BGALCOSTUMES.COM. Please keep all packaging and packaging materials in the event that the carrier wishes to inspect the item for an insurance claim. It will be at the discretion of Bgal Costumes as to whether we will send out a replacement with or without return of the damaged item and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. If we ask that you return the damaged item, we will pay for return shipping costs.
COSTUME EXCHANGES FOR SIZING:
Please pay extra attention to sizing and measurements provided on our costumes. We do not refund costumes; however, if your costume does not fit, we will exchange for an alternate size provided you notify us within two business days of receipt. You must email us at EXCHANGE@BGALCOSTUMES.COM to request authorization for the exchange. This is so we can ensure that the size you need is available. If we don't have the size you need for exchange, you may return the costume. It must be received back to us within five business days (please use a trackable method of shipping) and be in the same condition as you received it (clean, no signs of wear, smell of smoke, perfume, etc.). A 15% restocking fee is assessed on all costumes returned for sizing issues. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE GOODS POLICY:
In the case that a product is defective, we will replace the item for the same brand, style and color at no cost to you. You must contact us within 48 hours of receipt to receive the replacement. Replacements will be shipped out via standard shipping methods.
Claims for damaged shipments must be filed directly with the carrier.
